Different Ways to Multiply

In Math, we are learning 3 different ways to multiply numbers. Our math standard says students should be able to "multiply a number by up to 4 other numbers and describe the strategy and explain the reasoning." Each strategy we learn, they need to be able to explain what they are doing and why.

Here are videos for the 3 different strategies:

Box Method (or Array Model)
Partial Products
Traditional Algorithm

Need extra practice at home? Check out this website! Common Core Sheets
Another great way to find practice is type "multiplication worksheets" or "multiplication games" into Google.
